Ted Souder is the CEO and Co-Founder of Quoin, Inc., an AI-powered research engine transforming how intelligence is created and applied in the modern economy. Quoin.ai turns fragmented information into structured, cited, decision-ready insight in minutes, giving leaders a faster, clearer way to understand businesses, markets, and complex issues and to prepare for consequential decisions in real time. Built for the age of AI, Quoin is designed to pull fact-based data from thousands of trusted sources and mine it for the signals that matter most.
Previously, Ted was among Google’s earliest employees and spent more than two decades helping to build one of the most consequential companies of our time. Working in Chicago and Paris, he built and led high-performing teams across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; guided global brands through digital transformation in search, mobile, video, cloud, and early AI; and founded the Google CFO Forum to connect the world’s most influential financial leaders with the future of technology and business.
Today, Ted operates at the intersection of geopolitics, geo-economics, and technology. He serves on the boards of 1871, one of the world’s leading tech innovation communities, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, a top geopolitical think tank, and is a former part-owner of the Summit of Minds, a Chamonix-based thought leadership event focused on macro, geopolitics, environment, technology, and society. He advises startups, venture funds, and growth-stage companies around the world, and teaches AI strategy on Section, a global business education platform.
A sought-after speaker and moderator, Ted works with executives, boards, and policymakers from New York to Riyadh to Singapore on how to lead in an AI-driven world. Through his THRIVE framework for Modern Business Transformation, he helps leaders reduce friction, harness AI and data, and build organizations that are not only prepared for the future, but able to shape it. He lives in Chicago with his wife Lori, founder of Here Today, Africa Tomorrow, a conservation-focused safari business that operates in Eastern and Southern Africa.
"You are incredibly well-spoken and brought impactful insights to our invite only conference of industry leaders. We were thrilled with your session, and so were the attendees. One participant even let us know that the Innovation in Chicago panel made her "fall in love with her home again," so that is a major WIN! We can't wait to connect in the future."
